How to search the web with ai

🔍 How to search the web with ai
Maybe you're searching for a new job.
Maybe you're bored with where you live and want to search for a new place to live.
Maybe you're searching for the perfect book but haven't found it using traditional search.
In this article I will explain how to use AI search to find things better.
There are many AI search platforms out there. You can turn AI search on in ChatGPT or Claude.
However daunting the task I usually use Perplexity for my AI search engine.
This is because it is the best artificial intelligence search engine.
One is able to perform an AI search and it takes 1/10 the time of traditional search.
Maybe you can do 10 times the searches with Perplexity than Google.
What's the downside?
Perplexity costs $20 a month more than Google.
However, I can declare it worth it.
It provides much better searching with AI.
One is able to find books they wouldn't have been able to find before.
Search for jobs that were previously hidden.
Not to mention Perplexity enables travel like it's 1999.
All in all I think Perplexity is a great platform.
It enables one to use AI search to find previously hidden content.
Why do I think perplexity is 100 times better than Google?
Because it uses the LMM to sort the search results.
Do I think perplexity can be named the Google killer?
I think not because Google has implemented LM search recently, and it's almost better than Perplexity.
Lesson learned: if you make a new game, Google's gonna beat you at it.
You can't teach an old cat new tricks, but Google's gonna beat you at any innovative technology.
Take ChatGPT for example.
It was originally one of the best LLMs.
It was declared the Google killer.
But then Google turns around and makes Gemini.
Gemini is one of the better LLMs nowadays.
That being declared the ChatGPT killer.
What's it like being disrupted by the same tech ChatGPT disrupted?
I tune it to being like a fighter jet.
You attack another fighter jet just to be shot down.
ChatGPT was once the Google killer and now Google is the ChatGPT killer.
However, I still think Perplexity is one of the better software applications of this decade.
Perplexity Comet is their browser.
Perplexity Computer is their implementation.
Perplexity even has a finance implementation if you want to try your hand at finance.
I've used Perplexity Comet in several settings.
I've used it to automate job applications.
I've used it to research stock tips.
However, I have not used the Perplexity Computer.
I consider it too expensive at $200 a month.
Does this mean I think you should not buy it?
Although it's expensive, it does offer the same core functionality as OpenClaw.
So if you're trying to automate parts for your business, then I think it's worth it.
If you want to build a trading bot with Perplexity Computer, I'm not gonna stop you.
However, I just think it's too expensive for the everyday user to be using a Perplexity Computer.
There's not enough business cases for automation for the everyday user to be automating their workflows.
All in all Perplexity is a great product. You can try it here: https://pplx.ai/brendanmul24059.
